July 16th 2011, the twelfth Academic Conference of Chinese Journal of cell biology was held in Beijing Jiuhua Spa & Resort. The biennial Chinese Society for cell biology is biology 's largest academic event.

Cell biology is one of the important frontier disciplines of life sciences in the 21st century. It is also one of the fastest growing, most active, and widely interacting disciplines in other disciplines. The theme of this conference is “cell activity, vitality”.
